Protecting the World's Largest GTL Plant

The Shell Pearl gas-to-liquids plant is one of the largest energy projects ever commissioned. Covering a huge geographical area and subject to extreme environmental conditions, it required a specialist surveillance solution to monitor both offshore and onshore facilities. Synectics provided over 300 of its COEX camera stations for the project, to protect critical process areas and secure hazardous and safe-area zones.
